Newest Update

Journal entry by cindy Jarrett-Pulliam

Dear Friends and family,
I am writing to share that a week ago Friday, I got my latest scan results back...and it showed very little change and stability.  This means that my chemo has been approved again by my  insurance company and is continuing to work.  I feel like my prayers are being heard and that your prayers are as well. My fluids continue three times a week at the hospital and recently we have added a "banana bag"; which is full of vitamins and also helps keep me pumped up!  Fatigue and weakness continue to be my enemy on a daily basis.  I have my pain under control most of the time.

My family had a good trip to the seashore over Labor Day and it was so good for all of us to be together.  The weather was good and everyone got some fun time as well as rest. I gave a lot of direction from the couch :).  I was able to get in two walks on the beach that did me a world of good; and especially got to enjoy McKenzie's company; Christian's girlfriend on one walk. It's just hard to believe that summer and Labor Day have come and gone!

I'm looking forward to infant music classes with Elizabeth and Palmer that start soon.  Its amazing to see how much Palmer loves music though only a few months old.  She continues to bring us so much joy and is changing daily. She is holding up her head and will be sitting up soon. She is full of personality and already finds Larry funny.  I love watching the two of them together. Today is my very first official Grandparent Day :)!

I'll sign off for now and will continue my updates from time to time.  As always, I am thankful for your support, contact  and prayers.  It means more than you know. Thank you.

Love Always,
Cindy
