Hi All - sorry for delayed update. It’s been a journey for sure. 

Keeping the story short - Chuck finally got out of Bethesda North Hospital on 3/18. 

All of the doctors told me that taking Chuck home could be unsafe for him and mentally & emotionally draining for me. 

So a decision was made to take Chuck to a memory care unit. The plan for now is for him to stay there for a month. At that time I’ll reassess where he is in his recovery & make plans accordingly. 

This has been the hardest decision of my life. And, dropping him off was the most gut wrenching experience I’ve ever had. 

I do feel God’s hands involved in these decisions I am making for Chuck. I can only hope & pray I'm making the the correct ones to help him.
