Journal entry by Jean Foltz

It has been a long time since I have had anything to say.  Just our two week schedule of chemo, feel good, feel shitty, recover, then do it again.

We were able to get away for a couple months after Christmas.  We continued our two week regime in Tucson and were very happy with Banner Hospital and the ease of staying on tract.  We returned to snow, and more snow, and more snow.

Tuesday we again returned to see our doctor at Roger Maris CC.  Chuck had had a scan the week before for another ailment, but one that would also show his liver and pancreas.  After doing a double take, Dr Gupta looked at us somewhat baffled.  The spots on the liver AND pancreas were gone!  He is officially in remission!  Unfortunately,  this is not quite a complete remission.  He will  continue on  chemo every two weeks.  At some point, even on the meds, the cancer will return, but for now, we know that things are going in his favor.  He has more time to drive us all crazy with his stories and sarcastic comments made in jest.

Thank you all for your ongoing concern and prayers.  Someone is listening🙏
