WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD! 

Here is the update/praise report: Yesterday mom flown by CareFlight to UTSouthwestern Neuroscience ICU around 4pm. Upon arriving, the room was ready, doctors were ready to see her, began neurological exams, started blood thinners, took her out of pain quickly and they were “all hands on deck” throughout the night. 24 hours ago she couldn’t tell you her name or date of birth. She couldn’t read anything and was frustrated/confused with a lot of things.

Though we have more diagnostic studies to go through to pin down the cause of some things, her progress over the last 12 hours has been amazing! She is talking today and full of jokes. She is holding full conversations with a small amount of word mixups. She even read a food menu correctly and ordered her own food! They also believe the blood clot in the heart has dissolved.

The doctors did find stroke clots on the brain but anticipate a 100% recovery and will keep her here until we reach that goal! They have teamed up with 4 other specialists to make sure everything is reviewed and addressed correctly. We are LEAVING THE ICU and going to a REGULAR ROOM now!
