Christopher’s Story

Site created on October 8, 2021

Overnight on October 7, Christopher was working an accident as a road ranger when he was hit by an inattentive driver. He was airlifted to the hospital, where doctors found his spine, arm and both legs were broken. The doctors believe he will be paralyzed from the waist down.

As I receive updates from Christopher's doctors and learn more, I will share with you here to give updates in one place.

I may not be able to respond to each of your texts or messages immediately, but please know I appreciate all of you. Thank you for your love and support.

Love,
Yesi

Newest Update

Journal entry by Heather Dagostino

Christopher is home!

After more than five months since the accident, Christopher came home to our new apartment in Homestead.

I completed family training at his rehab facility to learn how to help him with his daily tasks.

We are all getting adjusted to our new life, and we appreciate you all being with us on this journey. We’ll update again if there are significant developments in the future, and I’m sure we’ll have more challenges.

For now we’re just happy to all be together again.
