Chris had another surgery today to remove the infection from the tops of both of his feet. All went well, they are treating this fungal infection as Cryptococcus. This isn't Chris' first rodeo with infection having had a serious lung infection several years back. He is now on a small dose of oxygen along with the IV antibiotics and next they will address the 2 areas in his lungs that are in question. He is in a good hands and  Hopefully the U of M will be more successful in diagnosing this than Sioux Falls was.  I think he now realizes that he has a compromised immune system and has to make some lifestyle changes. Thanks for the prayers and concern.
For the rumor mill, this is not contagious, its infectious.
This will be the last entry for caringbridge as we are both completely sick of creepers and rumor whores, you know who you are.... and so do I.
