Journal entry by Christine Wilson —
Hello Friends and Family! I am pleased to report that I was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon, after an eight day stay. The doctor said that it will probably take about one month until my digestive system is completely healed and back to normal. They did write a prescription for me which serves as an anti-spasmatic (for the digestive system), and so far I haven't have not needed to take it, Praise God. I have a follow up appointment with my oncologist this upcoming Wednesday...according to the GI doctor he does not feel as though I can tolerate the last infusion and pill form of the chemo as it would further damage my digestive system and could be far worse than this last episode. So, we'll just have to see what she recommends going forward and more importantly what The Lord is speaking as far as the last treatment is concerned. We want to thank everyone who has been praying for us , it has strengthened and sustained our family through these trying times. The children, especially the older ones really stepped up and filled in the gaps...they were able to manage the entire household while Patrick was working, and that includes caring for Lily Rose, whose only three months old. Speaking of Lily Rose, she is growing beautifully, her weight is spot on, and her digestive system is working perfectly. We thank The Lord for her complete healing! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as I'm sure decisions will need to be made here in the near future.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
In Him,
