I cannot believe that 5 years ago today I was just about a week away from finishing my 6-week course of chemotherapy and radiation.  So much has happened in the past five years....COVID, buying a house, starting a new job, getting two adorable kitties....and of course I am still CANCER-FREE!!

This time of year is always a time of reflection for me, and it also just happens to coincide with the upcoming 2024 Cancer Survivors' Celebration Walk & 5K, an event that honors and celebrates the hundreds of patients and cancer survivors in our community.  On June 2nd, I will be walking with my own team of supporters to help raise money for this wonderful cause.
