Yesterday I went in for my mapping CT scan. It serves 2 purposes; to determine if I can receive radiation without damaging my heart and esophagus and the trajectory of how the radiation. I will have been diagnosed with lung cancer for 3 months before treatment begins. Still have to have a brain MRI and lung function testing before radiation can begin.
