Christina Marie Principe passed away on January 21, 2024, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Christina was born on June 22, 1973, to Janet and Thomas Principe. Because she was born two months premature, her life began very similar to how it ended…with strength, grit, and a determination to survive. Christina was a proud Woodrow Wilson Wildcat where she played on the 1990 District Championship basketball team, ran track, and was a cheerleader.  After she graduated from high school in 1991, she went on to Texas Christian University where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.

In 2013, Christina met Jimmy Dorman and the love they shared was obvious to everyone who knew them. Without skipping a beat, she became advocate, confidant, and mom to their girls, Gracie and Presley. This role was her greatest joy and she did it so well. Although Christina made several appearances in the youth group in the 1990s, she did not officially join Wilshire Baptist Church until 2016 when she joined with Jimmy and the girls.

Christina leaves behind her devoted husband, Jimmy Dorman, their daughters, Gracie and Presley Dorman, bonus daughters, Taylor Dorman and Ashley Anderson, and mother, Janet Wilson (Jerry) Stone.  She is also survived by her three sisters, Jen LaTorre, Meghan Ottaiano, and Victoria Principe, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom she adored. Christina is now at peace, joining her father, aunt, uncle, cousins and grandparents. What a joyful family reunion!

Services will be held on February 1, 2024, at 3:00pm at Wilshire Baptist Church.
