Christina’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website.  Christina experienced a cardiac event the morning of Tuesday, May 9th.  She underwent CPR for over 40 minutes before her pulse returned.  After over 7 weeks in the ICU and in-patient rehabilitation, she is home and continuing her recovery.

We are using this site to keep family and friends updated throughout Christina's progress and recovery. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.  Please don't feel the need to donate to CaringBridge. The website simply asks for donations from visitors to help support it, but the donations don't go to the family. Thank you for visiting!

Started cardio rehab today. It will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the next 4-6 weeks. She is planning to drive herself, she’s been driving more and drove by herself for the first time yesterday.

We celebrated our 8th anniversary over the weekend at a downtown hotel while Grandma and Grandpa stayed home with Holden and then went bowling and the arcade on our actual anniversary with Holden on Tuesday. Otherwise, just taking it easy as things get more and more normal.
