Good Evening,
This has been a week of great strides in Chris' therapy sessions in all areas. Various benchmarks were worked on and checked off in relation to our coming back home. All the therapists were absolutely wonderful to work with and although realistic in their assessments they were always so encouraging as Chris went through each task and day this week.
Today was the day that Chris came home. We are so thankful, that after 24 days, she is home. She is moving slow but sure and her speech/language issues are getting better every day. She still has some therapy in her future but she is ready to get some normalcy back into her life and that is just what we did today.
Our family is so very thankful for all the prayers lifted up on her behalf, for all the visits that were made to us, for all the gift cards/food that has been provided and are being provided, and for the many donations of funds to our family. It is simply overwhelming to think of all that has been done on our behalf by those in the medical field and by those in the body of Christ. The Lord has used so many things and people to work together to bring us to this day and we are grateful.
In light of Chris now being home this will be our last update. We look forward to seeing many of you as we celebrate the goodness of the Lord toward us.
