Chris’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. Chris has been diagnosed with Stage III Rectal Cancer. Grammatically, I don’t think the disease is supposed to be capitalized, but it’s capitalized in our lives right now! We believe that God has cared for us, is caring for us, and will continue to care for us, but that belief? It can be hard, so we appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. It can be hard to know how to approach or talk with people who are experiencing a difficult season. It feels great when people say they are sorry, that they are praying, and just ask questions such as, “What’s next?”  


I’ll post updates at this site as we have them.

We are home!!! Chris feels well. We still don’t have a solid answer on what caused the pain, but we have meds if it returns. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement!
