Last month month, my Dad rang the bell with his last treatment for prostate cancer.
The other week, my friend found out her brain tumor isn’t cancer.
I happily tore up both their invitation cards to the World’s Shittiest Club (pun intended). This place is not for them nor for you and I will do everything I can to keep you out. I promise. Always.
Yo! It’s been 5 months since I last wrote here although it feels like years and seconds simultaneously. I just have 4 immunotherapy sessions remaining. Don’t worry I’m still 100% cancer free this is just for data/maintenance. While my treatments will soon be coming to an end, I hit the ground sprinting in my journey into Cancer Advocacy:
-I was invited to join the advisory board for Duke Teen and Young Adult Oncology program.
-Sam and I attended our first cancer event for a magazine release (Elephants and Tea)
-I’m working with Duke and other organizations on some awesome awareness/fundraising efforts.
-And probably the biggest update: I did my first interview with Spectrum News! You can watch here:

My life is getting back to whatever this new normal looks like. I’ll check back with updates and announcements but for now, I’ve got a whole year of my life to make up for.
As always: Fuck Cancer. Love y’all,
Biggs
