Chip is no longer struggling in his body and passed away Monday morning.  His lungs and heart simply surrendered to the breakdown they'd been suffering from in the past weeks.  We find relief that he is no longer in discomfort and is able to sing (and drum) his praises to our King of Kings. 

We are simply devastated at the loss of Chip. Jed and Bryson have been in Seattle and we have found great comfort in being together. On Monday, we were joined by Chip's sister and her husband, Therese and Jim as well as my Mom and step-dad, Ilona and Steve. Ellie is arriving Friday. In this time of heartache we have taken turns crying while recalling precious memories and stories that will forever soothe our souls as we adjust to life without my dear husband.  

At this time, I do not have immediate plans for a memorial service. But our family has intentions of a celebration of Chip's life sometime in the future. As ever, thank you for your support for our family this past year.
