Cheryl “Cheri” Ann Tindell of Inver Grove Heights, MN, age 61, passed away on July 16, 2022 at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a result of complications from a cardiac arrest.


Cheri was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 16, 1960 to Laurel and Charles Tindell. Throughout her life, Cheri loved helping people in need. She worked for 34 years as a Child Support Officer for Dakota County, always taking pride in helping out where she could. Her priority was always making sure that her children were taken care of no matter what and that they knew they were loved. Cheri was known for her humor, kindness, and knowledge. Her love for horses was life long since the age of 12 when she had her first, Shannon. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing Pogo on her computer, going up to her Cabin in Wisconsin, and spending time with her husband.


Cheri is survived by her husband of 30 years Gerald “Jerry” Ohmann. sons Rayme (Katie) Tindell and Jeremy (Jadie) Ohmann, step-children Katrina (Seth) Thai and Jason (Tracy) Ohmann, sister Pattie (John) Ecklund, grand-children Shayleigh, Tristan, Laney, Maddox, Kassidy, Isla, and Mikey. She was preceded in death by her parents Laurel and Charles Tindell, step-father Ed Wild, and grandchild Aria.


A memorial service of Cheri’s life will be held on August 19th at River Heights Vineyard Church. 6070 Cahill Ave. East, Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota 55076. The service is scheduled to start at 11am with lunch afterwards then a burial and dove release at 1:30 PM. Cheri requested that her funeral have lots of flowers. If you are attending, please consider bringing a flower in her memory.
