Cherie’s Story

Site created on June 18, 2020

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope  and encouragement.

Today I share the recent news of cancer that has attacked my beloved friend.  Two weeks ago Cherie entered the hospital with what appeared to be a kidney stone. After gall bladder removal and blood work, Cherie was diagnosed with Acute B Cell Lymphoma.  After the first round of Chemo she moved to Linden Grove to begin recovery. After just two short days, Cherie returned to the hospital where a mass was found in her brain.  Tomorrow she will undergo another type of Chemo in an effort to reduce it's size and surrounding inflammation.

Cherie is a published author and mother of six children. Along with her husband Ken and her children, Eric, Kari, Maggie, Aaron, Ethan and Katie I ask that you join us in prayers and support. At his time things are serious and the length of her stay at the hospital is unknown.

Your support is appreciated.

Journal entry by Ken Singer

Hello everyone, it's with great sadness to tell you that Cherie passed away Thursday morning at about 8:30. I had a chance to tell her that she was loved by her daughters Kari, Maggie and Katie and sons Aaron and Ethan. I told her that I loved her very much and when I placed my hand on her heart she looked at me and took her final breath. She waited for me to come and say goodbye. She was the best thing that ever happened to me. She gave me all the blessings I have. Thank you all for your support during this difficult time. 💔🙏😥
