Charlotte’s Story

Site created on January 16, 2017

As some of you know my Mom (Charlotte) was hospitalized on December 2016 for Congestive Heart Failer. She was placed in a rehab center for a few months and in February 2017 she went home.  Now just a little over a year later she’s back in the hospital.

Time is a funny thing we all wish we had more time to do things, then we look around and ask where has the time gone. When we get to the ending of our life or a loved one's life we wish we spent more time with them.

Well, it has come to that time for us to abide by Mom's wishes. She is not responding to any commands, stimulation, and her pupils are nonresponsive. She's not going to wake up... Now it's time to make Mom comfortable and just let God lead her home.

We are taking today to let the family say their goodbyes and tomorrow morning we are turning off the ventilator and the rest is in God's hands.
