Journal entry by Bobby Ward

"Happy Thanksgiving you all and be thankful for what you have , this year is being very challenging and is the 1st Thanksgiving away from my husband and kids ( Isabella and connor )as many of you know what charlie and us (ward family ) are going through this season, and a quick update charlie started his 3rd cycle of chemo on Monday (in patients) which was going to take about 3 to 4 days , we were so excited because we thought we were going to get discharge today ,but unfortunately he spike some fever last night which on his condition that is something that has to be taken very serious, so now he needs to stay and test has been done , waiting for results ,meanwhile he's getting antibiotics,  his ANC (The once that help his body fights infection );is very low so we don't know when we are going home so please just keep praying for him and all of us , these last 3 months have been the toughest but now I'm trying to take this opportunity to grow my faith in God I know this is happening for a reason and that is not easy especially for me not to question "why us " "why charlie" but I decided from now on that I should trust God and see the positive on all this ( that doesn't mean I won't cry or have my downs or feel scared ) and try to remember that God won't give us something that we can't handle , there is this song "there is a king " by Brandon lakes that is just helps me when I feel scared , helpless and so down, seen charlie how he sings and raises his hands when he listenes this song just bring tears 😢 of joy that he probably doesn't understands what's going through but his little heart ♥ feels the happiness and joy on that song , I'm so thankful for my husband that has been put up with me in my darkness moments and his faith has been strong that got me to surrender my self to God and trust him in all of this , thank you sooo much to my sister in law Bonnie Ward Snider shes like and angel on earth ❤, thank you to my  egroup that have been for us from day number 1 and all the things they have done for even cooking the dinner for us , (super awesome because I dont even know how to cook a turkey lol ) and thankful to all of you that have been with us , spiritual, financially  and emotionally supporting us thank you so much for that, and please be thankful for what you have, enjoy you  dinner you all, with love "the wards" from levine children's hospital"
