Charlie Reuss received his diagnosis of Glioblastoma Multiforme June 2016. When given a life expectancy of 6-14 months- he merely said “you guys will have to work on that”. Never again did he mention his diagnosis as terminal. Never did he shout in anger, or complain. That’s our Charlie Reuss.
He is a picture perfect patient, that when asked to give 20 he gave 100.
He touches people everyday with his strength and faith.
For 14 months Charlie lived just as he chose. Riding his Harley, visiting the mountains he loved, and loving his children, grandchildren, family and friends.
In September muscle weakness set in and worsened over the next 6 months. Many complications occurred including Pulmonary Embolism, Addisonian Crisis, hydrocephalus, and immobility.
Sunday April 1st, Easter 2018, Charlie came home with the support of Holy Redeemer Hospice. He continues to prove his strength and faithfulness. We are all in awe of him. Please pray for his peace.
