This will be my last post as we have hit the final milestone! On Saturday, we watched Charlie debut as a college lacrosse goalie! He did great and hasn't skipped a beat. Like I stated in past posts, this has been an emotional 6 months since we discovered that Charlie had an ASD and four months since the surgery. I think the gravity of it all hits me in waves and I am still processing what transpired. I can’t help but think about the what if’s - I quickly remind myself that we are lucky that this was found and even luckier to have it fixed successfully. Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes! Thank you for the dinners, the gift cards, notes and love we have been given. Our family felt and appreciated it all. We will make sure that we pay it forward - but in the meantime.... much love to you all.
