Season’s Greetings! It seems like a good time for an update. Thank you to all those that have checked in, visited and asked about how Dad is doing. We continue to feel your prayers, love and support and we are extremely grateful.

Dad is healing well from the surgery and is already back at work. I know you are all shocked to hear that (…or maybe not 😉 ). He also made it to four Christmas concerts last week after full days of work!

This past Monday and Tuesday, he received radiation on his L1 and S3 vertebrae, which concludes the treatment for those specific areas. He was supposed to begin Immunotherapy today, but he was slightly unsteady on his feet and in A-fib, so they were unable to move forward with that. The hope is that the radiation and immunotherapy will shrink and/or slow the growth of these lesions and tumor, which tend to be very slow growing already.

It was suggested that he actually head to the Emergency Department due to his status today. Instead, his wonderful cardiologist made room to see him and meds were adjusted to hopefully allow him to get his immunotherapy soon.

We continue to ask for prayers as Dad continues this fight. We are asking that you specifically prayer for dad’s heart to beat in a normal rhythm, so he can have his immunotherapy treatment next week. Next, once the genetic testing of the tumor biopsy comes back, we are praying that there is a clear answer for the best treatment moving forward and that the treatment decided by doctors would be covered under his insurance. He deserves the best of the best!  Lastly, we  pray that the lesions and tumor would shrink and pain would be gone!
