Mom had the heart surgery to repair the right side of her heart this morning. Everything went well. They placed two stents and she is expected to be discharged this afternoon. Dad will take her home to rest.
She has home healthcare coming in to do OT and PT and a nurse to check in. So thankful for Sanford Medical! They have been a great team. And continue to be involved in moms health care.
The next phase will be radiation for the lung cancer. We do not know when that will happen yet.
