Journal entry by Chantel Brown

April 9th I went bright and early for a PET scan. They infuse your body with a radioactive drug then put you in a machine and it lighst up if there are any possible cancer cells.

April 12th- Got a call that they needed to do a thoracic MRI also because there was a spot on my back that they could not determine if it was cancerous. They did say it just lit up my right breast and my lymphnodes on that side though, so good news on that front.

April 13th went in for my breast MRI, this was so uncomfortable. You lay on your stomach with your arms above your head and are not able to move and you hear this loud clanking sound from the machine the whole time which drowns out the music they try to play you so you won't hear it. They said that this was one of the worst MRI's to have done

April 15th headed to the thoracic MRI, this one was a breeze. I did find out that I have an intolerance for the dye they shoot in so that is always good.
