As if it could get any more stressful--I have called several gastroenterologists and NONE of them will see Chandler. Our first physician with Baptist is with a huge practice of several different offices. They refuse you to be able to see another physician within the practice, apparently no matter what. Leaves me with a very bad taste in my mouth as that doctor was opposed to us getting a second opinion. WHO the world is opposed to that? Fast forward to the others I have called since finding out Cinci would no longer see Chandler--they still consider him a patient at Cinci because he just saw them. It has to be at least a year before I can request to see someone else. WHAT? One did say we could get all his medical records and he'd look over them to see if he wanted to take him on as a patient. I don't have that time. It feels scary to know the only thing I can do is go to the ER with him if something happens. I have a couple of people looking into docs at UK for us, but nothing yet--so this momma's anxiety is off the charts. Even though Chandler is doing GREAT right now. Even though I know it could be worse. My anxiety is still crazy. I sure hope something in the right direction happens this next week. I will feel much better if so.
