Chad/Heather’s Story

Site created on March 31, 2024

HELLO to Everyone who knows and loves Chad and Heather Voss. This CaringBridge page has been set up to keep family and friends up to date on Chad's recovery. Chad fell on March 10th 2024 and ended up with a severe spinal injury. Chad spent 19 days in the ICU at Aurora Bay Care Medical in Green Bay WI. Chad and his wife Heather were then flown to Chicago Shirley Ryan Ability Rehab Center on Saturday March 30th where he will go through extensive rehab to get some of his mobility back. He is paralyzed from the chest down. Chad has a long road of recovery before him. Heather has been by his side every day and will be staying in Chicago with him. We ask that you pray for Chad and also for Heather. This journey they are on is going to be long, hard and emotionally taxing. If you are interested in sending a monetary donation to help with expenses please use the link to Heather and Chad's GoFundMe page. (found at the top of page under Ways to Help) Hoping to raise enough money to cover: a used vehicle that is wheel chair accessible, gas for hospital visits, cafeteria expenses for Heather, and what ever other expenses we haven't even thought of yet. Prayers are welcome everyday. Through prayer we can move mountains. Heather or I (Heather's sister Sonja) will be updating this page with Chad's progress once a day. Please let others know to come to this page to follow Chad and Heather on this journey.......a journey of healing and repair.
