Cedar’s Story

Site created on November 12, 2018

Welcome to Cedar's CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.

Cedar and mom, Annie Humphrey, were involved in a car accident early in the morning on Saturday, November 10, while on their way to a concert in Marquette, MI.  As they came up over a hill on Highway 2 east of Floodwood, MN, a car with two teenagers crossed over into Annie's lane, and the vehicles hit head-on. Sadly, the passenger in the oncoming vehicle did not survive. But Creator and the Helpers were watching over Annie and Cedar. Annie has a broken wrist and broken bones in her back, but has already been discharged from the hospital and is by Cedar's side. Cedar has a few scrapes and bruises and a  cracked a hip bone,  but also suffered some brain trauma from the impact.   Cedar is resting while the brain heals,  is getting the best care possible, and is starting on the healing journey.

We appreciate all your prayers and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for your visiting and sending good thoughts Cedar's way!

Cedar is strong like Annie, and she WILL battle through this!
