Newest Update

Journal entry by Sherry Witherbee

Hello all!  This is Cecil with an update on my status.  First of all I want to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, concerns, and loving support for our family!  I am significantly improved from where I was on October 4th when I fell and was rushed to the ER for emergency surgery!  I’m also doing quite a bit better than when I was released to go home two weeks later.  I’m able to move freely around the house, and do most activities as long as I don’t lift more than 10 pounds or strain myself too much.  I am trying to walk outside a couple times a day, weather permitting!  These limitations as well as not driving are to be in place for at least 12 weeks or around Christmas week!  I am feeling stronger and able to do more each week and am looking forward to fully recovering over the next few months.  I’ve gotten out a few times to go with Sherry to the store and to Church and it’s great to get out of the house.  Sherry’s been a fantastic caregiver throughout all of this and I wouldn’t be nearly this far along without her, the kids, and many of you going above and beyond!  We have surely been blessed by God in so many ways!
