Journal entry by Vicki Charles —
Today was a great day as far as news of Cecilia’s recovery. We had a follow up appointment @ UC Health with the Fabulous Dr. Millar who was Very informative, personal and just an all around cool guy! He was able to show us the scans which he said “ Hey would you like to see them?, you might as well since you paid for them!” It turns out Cecilia had actually 5 fractured ribs, #’s 3 through 7, and this would explain the many different pains she has had off and on since accident . Most are located on the left back side where most probably the weight of the 4 wheeler landed on her back. The incision looks good and Cecilia is starting to get feeling back in the nerves surrounding the incision so it has become itchy and sore. Recovery wise she still has a few obstacles to overcome, but all in all is doing VERY well. We look forward to another follow up 2 months from now. Thank you all for the prayers.
