Journal entry by Crystal Clark —
Recovery from surgery has been about the same as the first one. I feel great and I am super happy with the result. 💖 I am active but my range of motion is hindered by scar tissue so off to therapy next week ☺️
My drain was removed Thursday and I felt so free that I walked the Zoo on Friday with my parents and kids. 🦁 The lion roared and it was AWESOME for the kids to hear in person!
Then came today ... Monday... I had an MRI of my brain because I had been having horrible headaches. Scanxiety is REAL but I’m happy to let you know that as I was pulling in the driveway my nurse called to say that it was NEGATIVE. The wave of relief that came over both John and I with this news has us celebrating with ice cream 🍨. God’s Still Got This and I feel the final fight for to me accepting SURVIVORSHIP has been done.
