Sing all the praises!
Scan results showed all current cancerous metastases are stable (not growing)! I am cleared to head north for the summer and continue treatment there. Chemo and bone therapy will continue.
Recent radiation combined with chemo still has me completely fatigued and constantly exhausted, but this should lessen some in the coming weeks.
I do have a pretty bad lung infection in 4 of 5 lobes of my lungs. However, oncology & radiology are confident this infection is not related to chemo (another blessing). It will be treated with antibiotics & steroids, and current chemo schedule will not be disrupted.
Small concerns remain that will continue to be monitored carefully: thyroid nodule (currently stable), mild to moderate splenomegaly (the spleen controls a lot blood cell numbers), & steadily increasing (high out of normal range) liver enzymes.
Overall, Oncology was very pleased with scan results, so I am too!
