Just wanted to take a minute to say a belated THANK YOU to each one of you who donated to our 31-day Challenge fundraiser through the cookie sale or a direct donation.   We were able to raise around $850 at the cookie sale which turned into $1350 due to a match we received through the 31-Day Challenge.  As a team, we surpassed our goal and raised a total of $5553.67 that will go to the CHOP cancer center!  We are humbled and so grateful for the generous support of our village and honored to be able to give back to a place that has meant so much to our family.

We are thankful to now have long stretches with no appointments but then sometimes we end up with a bunch in a row.  This month Cassidy will have scans (June 25 and 26) and all the appointments that go along with those, and then audiology as well.  In July she will have surgery to remove the cataract from her eye which will also require some follow ups.  And then in August she will see the endocrinologist who is treating her known issues with thyroid and growth hormone deficiency as well as monitoring for several other potential long term side effects.  We appreciate your prayers that we know will carry us through all these appointments.  We are also excited for lots of free days to fill with summer fun (like our day trip to the beach this week picture here).  We will post updates after scans and surgery.
