I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who donated, brought meals, acts of service, stopped in to visit, phone calls and text messages, etc. You all definitely made our family feel the love and I know Cassandra would have been so grateful to all of you. A very special thanks to those who helped me care for Cassandra through this heartbreaking process especially in her final days. So many don’t understand what all goes into her caregiving and at one point we were having to push medications every hour, 24/7, for a couple days. There is no way I could have done all that by myself. I went 44 straight hours or no sleep because of having to take care of her and I am so thankful for the help that I had because it allowed me to get a 3 hour nap and then get back to it. To her brother Scott, you came into town at the right moment because I needed to lean on you for help during the nights and I was so thankful to have you there. I love you brother!
