After her appointment with her oncologist yesterday Cassandra had some great news.
They did rate/stage her cancer as stage II due to the size of malignancy within the removed appendix, however the masses they removed and the lymph nodes within the R colon all were benign. They will be testing MRI and Ultrasound for the cervical, thyroid and lower lumbar areas. After those tests come back they will better determine the route to address next.
