Two years ago today we got the call at 4:30 AM that the perfect heart may have become available for Carter. So tomorrow; March 29th marks Carter’s 2 year heart anniversary. That is Good Friday this year.
✝️ Prayers for our donor’s family as they grieve this day while we celebrate God’s goodness and a new found strength for Carter.
We have spent the last 2.5 days in Rochester completing annual checkups. Overall, labs and echo showed good levels and no significant changes since Carter’s last checkup in December. There are however; a couple things that our care team will monitor a little more closely to be sure that everything remains healthy and happy. A couple of medication adjustments will also be made, but Carter continues to feel great and he is excited to begin baseball practice on April 2nd!
