Journal entry by Tracie Miller —
Thank you to all of our family and friends who traveled near and far to honor and celebrate mom's life on Tuesday, May 17th. The link is here http://www.oakwoodpca.org/live
It was a beautiful service because of all of you.
Melissa, Matt, and I appreciate the unbelievable amount of support the Oakwood Presbyterian Church bestowed upon us; there are no words to express our gratitude fully.
To all of Mom's and Melissa's State College friends that went above and beyond for the past five months, we felt so loved by each of you when we needed it most.
We will never stop missing or wishing that we had more time with our Momma. She taught us the most beautiful lessons over the past five months, and we are forever changed.
With broken hearts, we rejoice that Mom, Grandma Carol, Sister, Friend, and Mentor is finally at home.
Love,
Melissa, Tracie & Matt
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 NASB
[16] Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. [17] For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, [18] while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Carol's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
