Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. On Thursday, April 14th I received a call from my moms cardiologist stating that she needed to be admitted to the hospital. Her lab work showed that her kidney functions were failing and she was on fluid overload. This is something we have been fighting with for the past year. On the way to the hospital I looked over at mom and her lips were purple. I pulled over to check her oxygen tank and the hose was kinked. I drove as fast as I could, running a few red lights. Mom went into respiratory distress causing a cardiac arrest.

This week is a struggle Mom. I just keep wondering why. I was not ready for you to go. I’m so lost. It should of been different. I know you are in a better place. I miss you so much.
