It is with heavy heart and resounding sadness that I write this update. Mom has passed and heaven has gained the most beautiful angel. I do not doubt that she is watching over all of us with her characteristic smile and loving heart.

She put up one heck of a fight last week. I will forever cherish the moments we spent together, especially last week. Every time Michael Buble plays, we will all think of her. She literally cooed one night in her sleep when he came on.

There are so many people to thank for their kindness and generosity over the last three months. Too many people to mention individually but please know it has not gone overlooked, particularly by mom. She was so grateful for everyone that visited. She made numerous comments and definitely felt as the center of attention through this process, as she fully deserved.

Funeral arrangements are under way. We are thinking Saturday wake at Piaseckis and Sunday funeral at St. Marys, depending on availability. Details will be worked out on Monday (tomorrow).
