Journal entry by Carolyn Darcey —
Hello Friends and Family,
We had a very quiet and restful week in the mountains, over New Years, with our dear friends Karen, Don, David and Lynn. It was just what I needed. I am continuing to recover and actually thought that I was pretty much back to normal when we got home, however, that is not the case. I still need to pace myself and rest when my body tells me to.
I had another X-ray on Friday and just heard from my surgeon. “Your X-ray looks better, much better. Keep doing your thing”. I think this confirms that I’m progressing but not 100%.
I am venturing out this week. I have nail and hair appointments (boy, do I need them done) and am going to play Bridge. So, you may see me around town. Hope to be back to the gym and hiking soon but I’m sure that will be a few more weeks
Unless something totally unexpected happens, this will be my last post. Once again, I want to thank all of you for all the cards, calls, flowers, visits and meals. I feel all the love coming my way.
💕 Love and Hugs,
Carolyn
