Several of you have mentioned you would like to send Carolyn a card, and I know she would love that!
If you do, here are some helpful hints:
1. Write very clearly in print instead of cursive
2. Keep your message shorter than longer. She can read, but it sometimes takes her a while on certain words (short and long ones), and then she has to comprehend what she has read. It’s a process for her.
3. She remembers most everyone in her life, but sometimes she has to be reminded. If you have a picture that was taken of you with her and can print it out, I’m sure she would love to see that, especially if it has been a while since you have connected.
4. She is not on FaceBook, so if you have any life updates, please feel free to share them with her!
