Happy almost 4th of July...Carol and I made it to the Lake mid-afternoon and were greeted by Patrick and Kaoru...wonderful to see them and made even more awesome because they helped me unload the car, groceries, and all our personal stuff.   I would have been at for hours and they made short work of it!!!  Kaoru is here for a short visit from Japan and a break away from his very busy medical practice...working with families facing fertility challenges and delivering babies and doing research in his spare time etc.  

A pleasant afternoon getting ready for the rest of the tribe that will be here this evening and tomorrow.  Carol got the hummingbird feeders refilled and the hummingbirds are happily humming at the feeders.

So glad that Carol, Sally and I made it down here to do spring cleaning last week so that we could just settle in.  The plants look great, Sally...thanks for giving them spring hair cuts!!   

Frosted a triple layer chocolate cake with raspberry filling.  You can see we didn't wait long to sample it.
