Caroline’s Story

Site created on May 16, 2020

Welcome friends and family. We are using this site to keep everyone updated in one place. We appreciate your support as well as words of love and joy. Thank you for visiting.

The facts: in mid-May Caroline was diagnosed with stage four metastatic kidney cancer. Her CT showed nodes in her lungs and other areas. There are a lot of unknowns that we hope to start to get answers to once we meet with the oncologist at the end of the week.

Caroline has a big fight ahead of her but she will have excellent medical care, state of the art treatment, and the love and support of an amazing community of friends and family. She’ll face this challenge as she does all challenges—with grace and love. She’ll do her research; she’ll make thoughtful, informed decisions; she’ll combine traditional and holistic approaches, and she’ll be a warrior in the face of the unknown.
