I had previously been pleased to report that the medication I've been on was effective in controlling the progression of my cancer for the last year. But unfortunately the medication has stopped working and the cancer is progressing again. It was recommended that I discontinue use - after almost exactly 1 year to the day.  

Fortunately, there is another medication on the market for my particular gene mutation, so I am trying that now. It's been about a week and seems to be tolerable - with a few side effects. Will know if it's working in a few months when I get another scan. 

I have received the best home care imaginable from Peter & Dana. I am convinced that my outcomes would’ve been much different, were it not for their loving care and breadth of their expertise. All the support from family and friends has been amazing.
