Hi all. Just talked to mom's doctor. Her heart is pumping fine now, but they did encounter some challenges. The vein they harvested from her leg was not enough so they had to go into her other leg. He said her heart was very diseased and the three arteries were very calcified so he was challenged getting the bypasses in, but he finally did. She also had to have two blood transfusions. Needless to say, I believe vigorous prayers are needed. She will likely be in ICU for 3-4 days. I can’t see her for another hour, so I will update again after that visit. She will probably not even be aware that I am there. Thank you all for your love and support. We need it.
