Happy 1st New Birthday to Carla! This day is a huge milestone. There have been many times that it felt like we wouldn’t make it to this moment. But Carla is so strong willed that she didn’t give up! So thankful to celebrate her today! 

 

She still has a long battle ahead of her. She still has to take chemo every day, forever. And she still has bone marrow biopsies every 3 months to make sure the cancer stays away. The next bone marrow biopsy is tomorrow morning at CMC Main. Please please please pray that she’s still in remission and that the biopsy will be as pain free as possible. Walt has been asking her a lot lately- “hey Ma, have they put that drill in your hip again?” He worries about his Ma. 💙Tomorrow is the day for another drill on the hip. 🙏🏼
