Welcome to Robert’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportWell it has been awhile since I've posted folks, which is probably a good thing.
Three years ago today, Robert was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer (stage III). I’ll admit it has been a long journey. We were able to celebrate our 40th anniversary last year and to be honest on this day three years ago I didn’t think that was going to happen.
Bob has been on a “PARP Inhibitor” for 27 months, which followed the chemotherapy, chemoradiation, and more chemotherapy in 2019. He is very fatigued and frequently nauseated from this current medication, but still hanging in there and working from home seven 10-hour days and then has seven days off. Every month he has blood work and oncology doctor appointment (virtual since Covid started), and every 3 months he has a CT scan). Things are still stable and looking good.
We have so many people continually praying for our journey and I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH, GOD HEARS YOU. I know I am personally sustained by your prayers. Much love to all!
