On Friday, January 10th, I took mom to the cancer center to get her chemo pump removed.  After she receives her chemo in the cancer center, she is sent home with a chemo pump.  The pump infuses chemo for three days.  Mom had a good day as she was in good spirits, smiling and laughing.  I said here we are, "two cancer patients, on an adventure," and she just laughed and laughed.  It's true, so it was funny to both of us.  

 

After we left the cancer center, we went and picked up some supplies, visited the wig store, stopped at Walgreens, and then grabbed lunch.  It was a full day, but it was nice for mom to get out.  She had a good day!
