Sorry for the update delay, but Candy’s recovery has been moving baby steps. She started going to a wound care doctor and that started her on a wound vac. After a month the wound has miraculously improved. We are on the final step of healing with collagen dressings.
Candy had her first visit with her oncologist in 10 weeks. She is scheduled to do another Pet scan next week. Dr Panelli wants to make sure Candy is back to her baseline before restarting chemo/radiation therapy.
