Camille’s Story

Site created on March 15, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On Monday, March 13, Camille wasn’t feeling well and was having a hard time catching her breath. Although she was hesitant, she agreed to an ER visit at Methodist hospital for evaluation. She preceded to struggle and on Tuesday her health took a drastic turn. She was suddenly in heart failure and needing full support in the ICU and transfer to a higher level of care hospital.
Last night, Tuesday, March 14, she was transferred to MHFV University of MN hospital on the East bank for advanced life support and care.

Journal entry by Keegan Jindra

No this is not an April Fools joke.

Mom has been discharged this afternoon! The plan for this evening is to: settle in at home on the couch, have a good dinner, and sleep in her own bed.

So happy and proud of the fight she put forth to get to this point. She added some more pills to her already extensive list but the plan is to do some outpatient PT work over the next few weeks to continue working on strengthening her body and mind.

Thank you all again for all the prayers. We are blessed to have Mom back in our lives and she’s ready to get back to her life she was living 3 weeks ago.
