I was reflecting on the past 18 months today. What a ride it has been. I am overwhelmed and grateful to God for answering many prayers in my life. The answers have not always been what I wanted in the moment, but His ways are not always my ways. Bottom line is that He has healed me with a new kidney and I am getting stronger every day. My weekly labs continue to show good results, my focus is getting lots of exercise and drinking 3-4 liters of water daily. 
I now have the 4 month evaluation at Mayo on July 22 and 23, where they will test the kidney for signs of organ rejection and look at my overall health. I also get to adjust to a somewhat normal life without feeling crappy and being on dialysis. Patience and I are catching up on yard work and reorganizing the house back to normal.
